A Lichfield woman has claimed a prize of £2,000 in holiday vouchers and a Mercedes sports car after being named a top performer in her company.

Laura King of Phones4U in the Three Spires shopping centre won the prize in reward for her sales and customer service.

24 year old Laura King was awarded the car at the Lichfield branch where she works. The award was given to her by Nick Fisher who is Phones4U's Chief Operating Officer. Fisher praised King's brilliant attitude and strong work ethic.

Laura, who has been employed at the store for three years won the vouchers and car after impressing her bosses with her product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service skills.

She was blown away at having won the prizes and said: I'm so pleased to have won this award. I did not expect this. I didn't know I'd won. Crazily, my car insurance is due for renewal next week - so this is an unbelievable surprise!

Nick Fisher had positive words to say about her: Laura joined us at Phones4u in February 2011 as a sales consultant in the Lichfield store. It was soon clear that she was not only a consistent strong performer, but that she demonstrated great attitudes and behaviours. She has taken the store from strength to strength and built a team to be proud of that put their customers needs first.

Laura managed to be named the top performer across over 700 different Phones4U stores in the UK.
