Stop Racist and Sexist Violence Public Meeting Saturday 20th September | 4–7 pm
15th September 2025
... Comments

  • A young Sikh woman in Oldbury was subjected to a horrific racist rape, sparking anger and outrage across our communities. This was not an isolated attack but part of a wider climate of hate, fuelled by far-right scapegoating of migrants, attacks on asylum hotels, and the rising flags campaign.
  • Politicians and the media have paved the way for this atmosphere instead of challenging it.
  • This grassroots meeting, led by women and supported by allies, will unite communities, share experiences, and build resistance to violence that threatens us all. We reject far-right figures like Tommy Robinson who spread hate and division, and we stand for justice, solidarity, and unity against racism and sexism.
  • Attendance is limited to 80, with booking via Eventbrite:https://iwa-gb-suwc.eventbrite.co.uk
