The visit came one year after the iconic Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park which marked Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance.

Sharon toured the hospice to see firsthand the difference Acorns makes to the lives of children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

During her visit she met with children, families and staff, learning more about the specialist care and support the charity provides every day.

The Osbourne family’s support has already made a significant impact, with £1.5million from the proceeds of the Back to the Beginning concert donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Paul Kemp, internal communications and engagement officer at Acorns, said: “It was our privilege to welcome Sharon Osbourne to Acorns Children’s Hospice in Birmingham, where she saw firsthand the difference Acorns is making for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

“During her visit, she toured the hospice and spent time speaking with children, families and staff.

“It was a moving moment and an opportunity to reflect on a legacy that extends far beyond music. Here at Acorns, Ozzy’s legacy lives on, giving more children the chance to be children every single day.”
