Award winning poet, playwright, singer-songwriter and author, Brendan Hawthorne will be turning his hand to steam-punk inspired poetry amongst other things this coming Sunday!
Brendan is widely published in his own right and has held several writing residencies throughout his career to date.
Brendan says,
“I am deeply honoured to be part of this year’s Steampunk events at The Raising Steam Festival as a spoken word performer. It’ll be great opportunity to air my jointly written tea duel poem, ‘Choose Your Cups’ with fellow performer Ian Henery on the day.”
Brendan will share some of his own work taken from the recently published ‘Seventies Child and Other Fashion Trends’ produced by Dream Well Writing.
Brendan went on to say,
