The session focused on the strategic and operational realities of entering the UK market, including talent acquisition, employment compliance, governance structures and commercial readiness.
Senior representatives from Mexico’s Ministry of Economy contributed institutional insight into foreign investment and international growth frameworks, while Jordi Peixó Marco, managing director at Santander International Business within SME and Corporate, provided financial perspective on scaling into mature markets.
Speaking at the session, Jordi said: “Choose a bank that goes beyond financial services and acts as a true strategic partner in your UK expansion.”
The level of engagement from attending founders reflected growing ambition within Mexico’s technology sector to establish credible and sustainable operations in the UK.
