Joga Singh will take on the role of market senior partner for PwC’s Birmingham office.
Joga succeeds David Morris, who led the Central Region for three years and who takes on a new role as chief operating officer for PwC Middle East’s Consulting practice.
Having started his career in Audit in PwC’s Birmingham office more than 35 years ago, Joga brings extensive experience of leading complex client engagements as a Deals partner, specialising in capital markets, structuring and accounting advisory.
He most recently served as chief financial & administrative officer for Strategy& and Value Creation and chief operating officer for PwC’s Risk Services business.
He will lead PwC’s business across the Central Region, working with clients, communities and stakeholders.
Joga Singh said:“I started my career in PwC’s Birmingham office as an audit graduate many years ago, and I’m proud to still call the Midlands home.
“Having built my career here, I’ve seen first-hand the resilience, ambition and innovation that define the Central Region.
“Those strengths create significant opportunities across world-class industries with deep roots in the region, including advanced manufacturing, defence and financial services.
“However, businesses are currently facing a number of challenges. Many leaders are grappling with significant change, whether driven by the geopolitical environment or advances in artificial intelligence.
“At the same time, these shifts are creating new opportunities for organisations that are prepared to adapt, invest and innovate.
“I’m proud to take on this role and look forward to working with our people, clients and communities to help unlock those opportunities, support sustainable growth and strengthen the Central Region’s reputation on a national and international stage.”
Emma Suchland, head of regions at PwC UK, said:“I’m delighted to welcome Joga as the new leader of the Central Region and our Birmingham Senior Partner.
“He has built his career here and brings a strong understanding of its markets, communities and opportunities, alongside deep experience supporting clients to solve complex problems.
“The Central Region plays a vital role in the UK economy and is home to globally significant industries, innovative businesses and ambitious communities.
“As the devolution agenda continues to reshape how places attract investment, drive growth and deliver change, strong regional leadership has never been more important.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with Joga and colleagues to help strengthen our local relationships and champion the region’s continued success.”
