The charity will support the organisation’s efforts to tackle food insecurity and reduce food waste across the region.

FareShare Midlands is one of the region's largest surplus food redistributors, supporting more than 60,000 people every week through its network of community organisations. Last year alone, the charity redistributed enough food to provide more than 12 million meals.

Fareshare Midlands works with schools to help offer families essential equipment, such as fridges and freezers, alongside supplies of good quality surplus food that might otherwise go to waste.

The organisation aims to strengthen the role of schools as trusted and accessible sources of support within their communities.

Alongside fundraising, colleagues from the EY Birmingham office will also have an opportunity to take part in volunteering opportunities, providing additional support to FareShare Midlands and its work across the region.
