The new skydiving facility will bring an exhilarating, world-class flying experience to the heart of the Midlands.

The new site is located in the fully renovated former indoor skydiving wind tunnel at the NEC.

The new site marks iFLY’s fifth UK location and features a newly-upgraded 12-foot circular glass wind tunnel, allowing guests of all ages and abilities to experience the sensation of freefall in a safe and controlled environment.

The upgraded tunnel features the UK’s first single-loop air circulation system - an iFLY aerodynamic innovation that delivers smoother airflow, greater energy efficiency and a quieter, cleaner experience for flyers.

The NEC launch expands iFLY’s UK footprint, joining sites at The O2, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Basingstoke.

Together, iFLYUK has flown more than three-million people, from families and school groups to celebrities and TV productions including Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice.

Sarah Harvey, NEC Group chief development officer, said: We’re thrilled to be launching iFLY at the NEC Campus.

“As we celebrate our 50th year, we’re focused on bringing the next era of the campus to life - creating new experiences, new energy and even more reasons for visitors to explore.

“iFLY is one of several exciting developments that will help us reimagine the campus and elevate the visitor experience for years to come.”
