After a decade of creativity and passion in theatre and with the community, this is the new symbol of Mooville Theatre`s journey and the story behind the mission.
"Mooville Theatre CIC uses drama, film and art to give voice to the voiceless" explained Marlene McKenzie, Founder and Creative Director of Mooville Theatre CIC "addressing taboo subjects and promoting healing conversations. We empower individuals and challenge cultural norms through our work in theatre, arts and education".
For many, Moovile Theatre is Marlene McKenzie. This new logo is a visual representation of the journey as a black female creative and entrepreneur. It embodies the resilence, strength and beauty found in every challenge and triumph over the past years. This symbol isn`it just about aesthetics - it`s about empowerment, representation and breaking barriers.
"Change is what this new logo depicts" explained Marlene McKenzie. "The previous logo was the story of the young Mooville/Marlene. This new one encompasses all these learned experiences over 10 years leading to the thriving Mooville Theatre we have today."
