The Pressure to Performance Summit took place on September and brought together people from sport, business, health, technology and the wider community for a programme of speakers, shared learning, formal networking and fundraising activity.
The total will be divided equally between the two beneficiaries, with £750 allocated to Lench’s Trust and £750 to Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club.
Contributors explored how people can prepare, recover, communicate and adapt when under pressure.
The programme included perspectives linked to Aquile Smith, Du’aine Ladejo, Professor Mounîm El Yacoubi, Ian Burrell, Shaz Aziz, Brad Parkes and Mike Pagan, alongside a wider panel.
Guests also took part in a formal networking lunch, partner and exhibitor engagement, and an auction element supporting the fundraising purpose.
Event organiser Michael-Don Smith said: “The Pressure to Performance Summit was built around a simple idea: that the lessons of sport, leadership and lived experience can help make conversations about mental health more practical.
“We are proud that the day has also delivered a tangible contribution to Lench’s Trust and Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club. It is a positive 2026 milestone and a foundation for more collaboration, support and fundraising.”
The day’s message was that high performance is not about carrying every burden alone.
It requires preparation, recovery, the confidence to seek support and the strength of community.
More than 70 people attended throughout the day, and the 2026 event forms part of a continuing effort to build awareness, connection and practical support around mental wellbeing.
