The service identifies potential support areas, and gives impartial guidance on workplace rights, rules and best practice.
Clients using the service will be encouraged to attend a free in-person meeting with a senior business adviser.
After the meeting, an action plan containing the key themes, priorities, and opportunities identified during the diagnostic will be produced.
Further to the action plan, a follow up meeting will be planned to discuss next the steps and any support that may be needed.
This conversation can cover concerns and workplace challenges.
The agenda would be agreed prior to the visit.
Typical topics are areas such as HR procedures, recruitment and retention, employee engagement, diversity, wellbeing and new workplace legislation.
The diagnostic session should be attended by someone within the HR/people function and anyone else who has oversight of current employee issues.
Keltruck Ltd, the largest independent distributor in the Scania worldwide network, recently joined the service.
A representative of Keltruck said: “Keltruck embarked on the Workplace Diagnostic Service with ACAS.
“It was great to have someone come and explore our business and processes, providing us with tangible recommendations.
“It highlighted where we could improve, whilst also celebrating what we did well. Keltruck would highly recommend this process for any business”
