Villa Park will host the Foo Fighters on 27 June 2022 as part of their return to the UK for the first time since their headline slot at Reading & Leeds Festival summer 2019.
The stars of the beautiful game are not the only ones to have graced the hallowed turf at Villa Park after the stadium hosted ‘Bon Jovi’ and ‘Take That’ in the last decade.
These must-see shows will no doubt be some of the concert highlight of next year, putting Villa Park firmly back on the map for music events.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed No.1 album, Medicine At Midnight, earlier this year, Foo Fighters made an historic return to the stage at New York’s Madison Square Garden, playing the city’s first full capacity show in more than a year.
Aston Villa Chief Commercial Officer Nicola Ibbetson said: “To host the Foo Fighters is a huge occasion for Villa Park.
“We look forward to welcoming back music fans for the first time since hosting Bon Jovi in 2013.
“This event will once again showcase Villa Park’s ability to host world-class events.”
