Birmingham Chinatown Lions are pleased to announce the return to face to face fundraising after an 18 month break.
On the 29th October 12, 2021 people can chose to attend in person at The Gunmakers Arms on Bath Street Birmingham for an evening of beer tasing and magic. Alternatively, people can attend via zoom. You can still enjoy the beer tasting as the beers will be sent to you in advance. (Last postage is the 25th October) but pick up at the pub is available until the 29th.
The Elegant Magician Neil Edwards is out host for the evening. Neil in addition to being a fantastic close up magician is also a beer sommelier. In conjunction with the brewer Mark Arnott of Two Towers Brewery he will guide us through the 3 beers on offer.
The cost of £25 (+£5 postage for zoom) includes the 3 beers and of course at the pub you can buy some more. During the evening Neil will be entertaining us with some close up magic and through the magic of zoom those at home will be able to follow what’s going on as Neil has developed a set-up enabling the action to be followed remotely.
During the evening we will be hearing from some of the Birmingham Chinatown Lions and also having a raffle which those watching on zoom will be able to participate in also. In addition those at the pub can enjoy a boxed selection of feed from Chung Ying, who have kindly given us an offer of 2 different boxes of food. A meat box and a Vegan box. These are normally £18 but Chung Ying are allowing us these at £15. They must be paid for to us and we will collect them on the evening.
