
The volunteering initiative is organised by United By 2022 in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), giving local volunteers the chance to be right at the heart of one of the city’s premier sporting moments.
The tournament will take place at the Edgbaston Priory Club from 30 May to 7 June.
Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Lexus Birmingham Open by providing safe, friendly transport for players, coaches, officials, VIPs, and other accredited personnel.
Thet will be a key point of contact for some of the event’s most important guests, helping them move between venues and hotels with ease and professionalism.
It is also a chance to meet new people, boost event experience, support local community, and be part of a team delivering a world-class sporting experience in Birmingham.
To be eligible, volunteers should a hold a full, clean UK driving licence, be 25 years or older to meet insurance requirements and be a UK resident with the right to work.
All volunteers will receive training in tournament transport processes and operate both scheduled journeys and ad-hoc transport throughout the event.
