Becca Horley, associate solicitor at Fletchers was recognised for the award for mentoring over 25 junior and aspiring lawyers and creating an accessible online community through her LinkedIn and TikTok channels.
The awards recognise individuals who excel in their areas of the legal profession and work to promote equality and diversity, helping to create an environment where women can thrive.
The Rising Star category celebrates emerging talent and achievement within the profession.
Becca, who was the 2025 Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year winner, said: “As a first-generation lawyer, I understand how important it is to see people who look like you, sound like you and share similar experiences succeeding within the profession.
“Throughout my career, I have worked to challenge perceptions of what a successful lawyer looks like and demonstrate that women do not have to change who they are in order to thrive.
“One of the things I am most proud of is helping women understand they do not need to sacrifice their authenticity to succeed.
“I regularly hear from aspiring lawyers who tell me that seeing someone succeed whilst embracing both ambition and individuality has given them confidence to pursue their own goals.”
