First Intuition Midlands expands offering with launch of ACCA course

The courses will give students across the region a new way to study for one of the most respected qualifications in the accountancy profession.

Previously, First Intuition Midlands students have studied AAT and ICAEW face-to-face at its Colmore Business District centre, with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) available through other study routes.

ACCA students can now benefit from the same classroom-based courses, tutor support and structured learning that has helped our AAT and ICAEW cohorts succeed for years.

The move responds to growing demand from both students and employers across the Midlands, many of whom have told us they wanted the option of face-to-face ACCA courses rather than studying remotely.

For accountancy practices and corporate finance teams already working at First Intuition it means trainees progressing onto ACCA no longer need to change provider or study format.

Ravi Trivedi  managing director of First Intuition Birmingham, said: "Bringing ACCA courses in-centre has been a priority for us, and it's a real step forward for our Birmingham students.

“The timing couldn't be better, with students needing extra support through the new ACCA syllabus - having that face-to-face structure in-centre makes a real difference.

“It means we can now support someone the whole way through their finance career - from AAT right through to ACCA - with the same teaching and support they've come to expect from us.

“For employers, it also means fewer handoffs and more consistency in how their trainees are taught.”
