A Birmingham restaurant will next month host an exclusive wine dinner in collaboration with one of Argentina’s best-known wineries.
Fazenda, in Colmore Row, will welcome Terrazas de los Andes on 18 September for an evening pairing high-altitude wines with a four-course menu. The Mendoza-based winery is recognised for producing Malbecs and Chardonnays from vineyards in the foothills of the Andes.
The menu will begin with a welcome glass of Terrazas Chardonnay, followed by a series of dishes matched to the winery’s range. These include a lamb picanha served with parmesan pork alongside Terrazas Grand Malbec, and a steak course – featuring cuts such as fillet and Wagyu NY strip sirloin – paired with a single-parcel Malbec from the Los Castaños vineyard.
Only six places are available for the dinner, which is priced at £89 per person. A deposit of £30 is required when booking, with the balance payable on the evening.
