Looking for a fun and lively place to take the kids over the summer holidays? Look no further – Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery offers a FREE day out that promises to be fun for all of the family. Everyone knows how difficult it can be to keep the kids entertained while off school - but they have galleries, exhibitions and events for all ages!
This includes the interactive gallery In Touch where children can play and touch the sculptures, whilst listening through headphones to a fun and educational story being told.
Most of the art and history galleries include dress up areas for children, and colouring-in packages which allow them to experience the fun of going through the galleries (while Mom and Dad can enjoy the museum, too!).
Also, for a small charge, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery arrange family activities every day during the school holidays, as well as drop-in sessions for the family to get creative, including Arts Club where the children can work with real artists!
Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is located near Birmingham City Centre - you can go along anytime free of charge, but if you're looking for more information or to plan your family day out call 0121 464 5056.
