Edgbaston Village has revealed plans for a night of music, cinema, and community as it transforms Greenfield Crescent into an outdoor cinema space for a one-night-only screening of The Wizard of Oz on Saturday 19 July.
Presented in partnership with Flatpack Festival, the event invites audiences of all ages to enjoy the timeless musical in the leafy heart of Edgbaston.
Tickets are priced at £5 and include seating for all attendees.
The evening will feature a screening of the 1939 Technicolor classic starring Judy Garland as Dorothy.
Before the film begins, audiences will enjoy a special live introduction from Birmingham’s own cabaret star Fatt Butcher, setting the scene for a memorable journey down the yellow brick road.
Greenfield Crescent will be dressed for the occasion, with food and drink on offer from popular local venues including Chapter, Loki Wine, and Smoke + Ash.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy drinks and refreshments before the film begins at dusk.
