In a move that sets a new standard for early-stage companies, Data Literacy Academy has partnered with National Neurodiversity Training to deliver a company-wide neurodiversity training programme.
Recognising that neurodiverse teams can be up to 30 per cent more productive, over three months, every employee at Data Literacy Academy will take part in a lived-experience-led training journey. The learning is designed to challenge assumptions, improve team communication, and build a culture where neurodivergent employees can thrive, not just fit in.
A recent Neurodiversity Audit revealed that 92 per cent of staff at Data Literacy Academy see neurodiversity as essential at work but 72 per cent rated their knowledge as only average or below. This showed both a need for greater confidence and a strong appetite to learn.
Greg Freeman, founder of Data Literacy Academy, said: “In the data world, we talk a lot about intelligence, but you can’t lead with intelligence if you ignore the people behind it. Supporting neurodivergent talent is the right thing to do. It directly drives productivity, retention, and long-term success.”
The training goes far beyond surface-level awareness. It includes:
Iveta Pudilova, CEO of National Neurodiversity Training, added: “Data Literacy Academy recognises that neurodiversity inclusion means business success. They’re a leader in employee experience, investing in cultural change that will deliver stronger performance, healthier teams, and measurable business outcomes. This is what modern leadership looks like.”
