A big wake up call!

Many of our children suffer from this trait - Alexithymia. Alexithymia is a
personality trait characterized by the subclinical inability to identify and
describe emotions experienced by one's self. The core characteristic of
alexithymia is marked dysfunction in emotional awareness, social
attachment, and interpersonal relation.

As a condition marked by lack of feelings, it can be difficult to recognize the
symptoms of alexithymia. Since this condition is associated with an inability
to express feelings, an affected person might come across as being out of
touch or apathetic.

Uninvolved parenting, sometimes referred to as neglectful parenting, is a
style characterized by a lack of responsiveness to a child's needs.
Uninvolved parents make few to no demands of their children and they are
often indifferent, dismissive, or even completely neglectful.

As responsible parents young and old it is our duty to protect the next
generation, we are ignoring valuable signs that something is not right with
our child, parents have to put themselves last.

We are all at fault by thinking our lives are more valuable than the next
person. We need to put things in place before we have no place to go!

I am arranging a monthly meeting of the residence of Handsworth in relation to the
rising deaths of knife crime within the area, it has come to my attention that the
parents and friends are active in stopping this anus crimes from affecting the next
generation, our children are crying out for a solution, this crime affects everyone.

The first meeting will be help on 3rd July 2021

More information will be submitted nearer the date.
