R&Co Communications, which is based in Leamington Spa and Birmingham, has developed the resource to aid accountants and financial advisers as they navigate the Budget in the AI era.

‘How to use the Autumn Budget to market your business’ shares tips on making the most of the annual fiscal event across PR, SEO and social media to gain visibility in AI platforms.

Ofcom’s News Report 2026 found that one in five UK adults are now using AI tools such as ChatGPT to keep up to date with the latest news.

The figure suggests that at least a fifth of the population will be turning to these platforms to make sense of the Budget and how it will impact them on both a personal and professional level.

The guide provides actionable tips to help accountants adapt their Autumn Budget analysis and response to better fit how AI platforms process and cite information.

R&Co Communications has worked in the professional services sector for more than a decade, using media relations, social media marketing and SEO to clients in accountancy and finance grow their business.

Ian Gallagher, account director at R&Co Communications, said: “The digital marketing landscape is changing rapidly and AI has introduced a new challenge for businesses.

“We appreciate that it can be difficult to keep up with these changes when marketing isn’t the day job and the goalposts are moving so quicky.

“Research shows that PR, SEO and social media are all feeding into AI results, so knowing how to join up these activities will help firms to increase their discoverability and win in the AI era.”

R&Co Communications – formerly Newsline PR – was established in 1979 and has evolved from offering traditional media relations into a full-service digital marketing agency made up of former news editors, journalists, PR, SEO and social media specialists.
