Founded in 2021 in the aftermath of the global pandemic, Colmore Partners began operations from the front room of practice manager Kelly Howles' mother's house.

Today, the independent financial planning firm has evolved into a thriving business serving 365 individual client family groups, with team numbers growing from five to 18 members.

Managing director Richard Meek (pictured) said: “We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved in such a short timeframe.

“Our growth has been entirely organic, built on strong relationships, developing our talent, and maintaining the values we established from day one. It's a testament to the trust our clients place in us and the dedication of our team.”

The firm's financial trajectory demonstrates impressive momentum.

Assets under administration have grown from an initial £250 million to approaching £650 million- more than doubling in five years.

This progress has enabled the business to invest significantly in its workforce and capabilities, with 85 per cent of recent growth driven by client referrals.

Colmore Partners has garnered substantial industry recognition in a remarkably short timeframe.

The firm has been voted a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years, achieving an average employee satisfaction score of 93 per cent last year.

Recent accolades include recognition as a Top-Rated Firm on VouchedFor and a feature in The Times amongst the country's leading financial planning firms.

To support continued growth, Colmore Partners has secured new office space for its developing team and expanding business.

Additionally, the firm has welcomed a new planner to its ranks, Imran Kalam, with another planner set to join later in the year.

Richard said: “These appointments reflect the momentum we've built and our confidence in what we can achieve.

“Finding and retaining exceptional talent has always been central to our strategy, and we're committed to fostering an environment where our team can grow professionally.”

Earlier this spring, they hosted a special 5th birthday celebration to thank everyone involved with the business.

The event provided an opportunity to pause and reflect on the company's trajectory, while showing their biggest supporters the appreciation they deserve.

Richard continued: “It's a very exciting time. As things develop, I'm more and more excited to see how well Colmore will grow. The party was very much needed to thank all those who have stuck by our side throughout the years.”
