When people are without a permanent dwelling, such as a house or apartment. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure and adequate housing due to a lack of, or an unsteady income.
Claudeth Stanley manages solely a non-profit organization called Abrianna Breakfast Club, also known as ABC Ltd, Claudeth is dedicated to furthering a particular social cause by raising funds for a mobile shower, conversion 2019.
In the morning Claudeth supplies free breakfast to 6 inner City schools. In the evening after work Claudeth feeds 30/50 people in Central Birmingham & Central Wolverhampton.
Most are homeless or have fallen through various social safety nets.
The harsh reality of life on the streets or being jobless in one of the most expensive cities in the world means a warm, nutritious meal can make a world of difference.
Tackling two issues in one each week meals are cooked using fresh produce donated by Fareshare in Nechells Birmingham that would otherwise be destroyed.
Claudeth Stanley of ABC Ltd collects the produce early in the morning then spend time chopping, stirring and seasoning. Come rain or shine the food is then taken to various sites and is served by her smiling face. “ABC Ltd are the essence of community(s). Every day my common focus, my common interest, my tie that binds is giving back,”
