Midland Mencap was recognised with the accolade following a thorough assessment, including visits to head office and properties, and invaluable feedback from the people we support.

The charity has also become one of only seven housing providers in Birmingham to achieve the Gold Standard.

Awarded providers will also be featured on the Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) and Birmingham City Council websites.

CEO Dave Rogers said: “We are incredibly proud to receive the Gold Award.

“This achievement is a testament not only to the dedication of our staff but also to the quality of our housing, which provides a safe and high quality environment where the people we support can thrive.

“It’s a real celebration of the partnership we’ve built with our tenants.”

The Gold Award is valid for two years, and Midland Mencap will continue to maintain the highest standards of care and accommodation across all its services.
