QAC Enterprises Ltd is a part of the charity, meeting the needs of many disabled and visually impaired people across the UK with and contributing to the finances of the charity through its profitable ventures.
The chair is expected to bring business development skills and strategic expertise while developing worthwhile and well researched opportunities that support the wider purpose and ambitions of the organisation.
QAC principal and chief executive Bev Jessop said: "QAC Enterprises Ltd are such an important part of the Queen Alexandra Charity, Birmingham.
“They benefit thousands of clients nationally and hundreds of students within and external to the QA College, QA Community and QA Residential service areas.
“Its success is due to the ongoing expertise and commitment of staff and knowledgeable governors, generous with their time, skills and experience and who make a significant difference to the quality and offer of QAC Enterprises Ltd.
“We are keen to engage with more independent governors who can bring further expertise in business growth and sustainability to this Birmingham charity."
During the 2021 to 2022 financial year, QAC Enterprises Limited’s turnover exceeded through three distinct businesses including the All Formats Transcription Services, Sight Village, and Revolution Advantage Graphite Canes.
The QAC Enterprises Ltd board is also looking for Independent Members to join and bring current, motivational and challenging support to our enterprise areas.
