The new partnership brings together Booghe’s passion for play with free@last’s commitment to empowering children and families in Nechells.

Together, they will deliver a series of creative and community-focused initiatives designed to inspire confidence, creativity, positive play and life skills for local children.

The partnership will include providing unique experiences for children — such as Booghe’s generous offer to give all free@last’s youth club members access to cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) gaming.

They will also have the opportunity to review toys and products too.

These opportunities aim to inspire children to try new things, build confidence, have fun and develop new skills.

Booghe Toys will work with its wider network to collect and expand opportunities available through the programme, supporting free@last’s Faff Free youth led business - a pre-loved selling platform to encourage children to raise funds for future experiences, helping them learn about responsibility, teamwork, and financial awareness in a real-world setting.

Speaking about the initiative, John Street from free@last said: “Booghe Toys and free@last are bringing play, opportunity, and hope to local families in Birmingham — proving that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.

“If you would like to make a difference to a child this Christmas, you can take a toy to the Booghe Store at The Fort, and put it in the collection box, and we will then give it to one of our children this Christmas.”
