The four major universities across the city have launched a free recruitment service aimed to help businesses hire local graduates.
The service, named as Higher-Level Skills Match Plus (HLSM Plus), is a collaboration between Birmingham City University, the University of Birmingham, Aston University, and University College Birmingham.
It connects businesses across Birmingham with a city-wide talent pool of graduates and final-year students living in Birmingham and Solihull.
The project is open to businesses with roles ranging from entry level positions or placements, right through to graduate schemes.
By engaging with the service, businesses can utilise services from an untapped graduate pool with top level talent
HLSM Plus also eliminates the complexity of engaging with multiple higher education institutes, offering businesses a single point of access to a diverse cohort of skilled graduates, saving time and resources.
Following recruitment, advisers provide 12 months of ongoing wraparound support to graduate hires, ensuring the best chance of retention and progression in their role.
Robyn Payne, project manager at Birmingham City University said: "Recruiting top graduate talent has never been easier.
“Through HLSM Plus, we’re making it simpler than ever for businesses to connect with skilled graduates who are ready to contribute from day one.
“Contact our account managers today to find out how we can support your business."
