On Wednesday 1st April between 8.30 and 9am Poet Saida Chowdhury  will be Live on air on Lichfield Radio with programme Director Ruth Redgate.     

 

Saida met Ruth at The International Womens Day celebration held at The Guildhall in Lichfield on Saturday 8th March by The Mayor Councillor Claire Pinder Smith. She was accompanied with her son and Publisher, Hugh Ashton of j-Views Publishing. She read some of her poems from her poetry collection 'Broken Minds' and Ruth who had been on the women only panel enjoyed the poetry very much.     

 

Saida will be discussing an upcoming event on Saturday 11th April celebrating the Bangladesh New Year also know as Boishak Celebrations with Legacy West Midlands and BADA, Bangladeshi Artist Development Agency.    

 

The event will see the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra play as well reknowned singer Sohini Alam supported by her band Khiyo and poetry readings from Saida Chowdhury and Tarek Chowdhury, funnily not related.
