Kimichi Worcester will bring its music-focused teaching and student care to families in Worcestershire and nearby areas and will extend the school’s approach to education, pastoral care and musical excellence to families across Worcestershire and the wider region. 

Set in the heart of Acocks Green, Kimichi School is based in Eastbourne House, a well-preserved mid-19th-century villa and the last of its kind along Yardley Road (built in 1858) that later operated for decades as a local school before reopening with a fresh educational purpose.

Kimichi School is recognised for its strong culture, where pupils are supported to thrive both personally and academically.

Following the success of the Birmingham school, Kimichi Worcester will offer the same caring, high-standard environment with music at the heart of school life, while working closely with local partners to give pupils the support they need, when and where they need it.

The school and its wider community ensembles are preparing for a flagship event, Strauss Spectacular at Symphony Hall - a celebration of music in the community that blends the power of classical orchestral performance with original Kathak choreography performed by Sujata Banerjee Dance Company.

Kimichi’s orchestral programme continues to grow, connecting artists and audiences through shared cultural experiences.
