The Mental Wealth Revolution Ltd, founded by Birmingham business leaders Jules and Lee Mitchell, was commissioned to deliver its immersive Reclaim: Who’s at the Wheel? experience as part of The Piece Hall Trust’s ongoing commitment to strengthening staff wellbeing, leadership awareness and sustainable resilience.
The session brought together employees and volunteers for a full-day exploration of the hidden internal pressures that shape human behaviour, emotional regulation, communication and decision-making under stress.
Unlike traditional workplace wellbeing programmes, The Mental Wealth Revolution focuses on what it describes as “human capacity under pressure”, helping organisations understand how nervous system overload, subconscious protective patterns and cumulative emotional strain directly affect performance, relationships and leadership effectiveness.
Founder Jules Mitchell, known as the Mental Wealth Firestarter, said: “Across every sector we work in, we are seeing the same thing: good people carrying invisible pressure until it starts affecting clarity, confidence, communication and capacity.
“This work gives people a practical understanding of what is actually driving their reactions and patterns under strain, so they can interrupt those defaults and begin operating from a far more intentional place.”
The event was supported by Jacqueline Palmer, who helped bring the training to the Trust and described the day as an “exceptional experience”.
Reflecting on the impact of the session, Jacqueline said: “One moment that really stood out was the reminder that our brain deserves the same kindness, nurturing and care that we so often give to others, something simple, but so easy to overlook.
“The energy, commitment and openness in the room made it incredibly powerful, and the practical tools people took away will have value both personally and professionally.”
The Mental Wealth Revolution has grown rapidly from its Birmingham base, with its distinctive approach now being delivered across NHS teams, armed forces communities, schools, leadership groups, charities and justice settings throughout the UK.
