Blackberry Events have been shortlisted for the Event Agency of the Year at the upcoming Meeting Industry Association awards ceremony.
The Midlands-based event managers will be attending The Belfry in November along with hundreds of event and hospitality professionals from across the country.
The awards ceremony is a staple in the meetings and events industry calendar with awards presented across 15 categories praising individuals, venues, suppliers, destinations and agents.
The news comes for Blackberry Events shortly after the appointment of their new director and former Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year, Georgie Butler.
Georgie has been with the organisation for over five years and has taken on the role to oversee their acceleration in growth within the meetings and events industry.
Georgie said: “Being named finalists at the Meeting Industry Association Awards is a great honour.

Meanwhile, event manager Rae Rodien has been nominated for Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year.
