It is the second time the brewery has taken the title, and the latest honour for its rebrand with integrated marketing and communications agency WAA Chosen.
The Brewers Journal announced the winners on 29 September at The Big Penny Social in London, on the opening night of the Brewers Congress.
A panel of judges from across beer, brewing and hospitality, chaired by the publication's global editor Tim Sheahan, decided the shortlist and winners.
The award follows a five-award haul for the same rebrand at the World Beer Awards 2026, where Attic was named Overall Winner for Best Overall Redesign, the competition's top design honour.
The full haul included Best Overall Redesign (Overall Winner), Best Redesign for Intuition (Gold), Best Redesign for Pilsner/Forward (Gold), Best Can Range Design (Gold) and Can Label Design for Intuition (Bronze).
The World Beer Awards announced its winners at Sprowston Manor in Norwich, where brewers, judges and industry professionals gathered to celebrate the year's best in beer, judged not only on taste, but on the design and craftsmanship behind each brand.
WAA Chosen led an evolution of the pattern-heavy, colourful branding that has defined Attic's identity for several years, refining the visual language, simplifying messaging, and improving consistency across the range, while keeping the playful character that has made Attic's beers instantly recognisable on shelf and on tap.
The work spanned Attic's core range, including Intuition, Pilsner and Forward, as well as the brewery's wider can design system.
Craig Matthews, managing director at WAA Chosen, said: “Attic came to us with a brand people already loved, so the brief was never to start again.
“It was to sharpen what was already there for the brewery's next stage of growth. We turned Attic's known patterns into distinctive brand assets that worked harder on the can and on the shelf, making it easier for people to recognise and ultimately get these brilliant beers chosen.
"From the first workshop through to the finished identity, we kept Attic's bold, colourful personality and made it consistent, so the brand is unmistakable whether you're at a bar in Birmingham or scanning a crowded supermarket shelf.
“Seeing that work recognised on a global stage, and now by the brewing industry here in the UK with Branding of the Year, is a brilliant moment for everyone involved, and we're grateful Attic trusted us with a brand that means so much to this city.”
Oli Hurlow, co-owner of Attic, said: “When we started the rebrand, we knew we didn’t want to lose what made Attic feel like Attic. We’ve grown a lot since we first opened, and we needed a brand that reflected the brewery we are today and where we want to go next, while still feeling familiar to the people who have supported us along the way.
“WAA Chosen really understood that balance. They helped us create something that feels more confident, consistent and unmistakably ours, whether you see an Attic beer on a supermarket shelf, behind the bar or in our own venues.
“To see the work recognised with five awards is incredible, but being named the Overall Winner for Best Redesign is particularly special. We’re really proud to have created this together here in Birmingham and to now see it recognised on a global stage.”
