Developed by Birmingham-based web designer ALT Agency, the new platform marks the completion of Phase 1 of the project and provides a dedicated, user-friendly hub for schools delivering the Real Food Rebellion programme.
The initiative, created by Public Health Collaboration, aims to educate and empower secondary school students to think critically about food, nutrition and the role of ultra-processed products in their diets.
The programme is already being rolled out across schools nationwide, supporting improved awareness of how food impacts energy, focus and overall wellbeing.
Phase 1 of the website has been designed specifically for use within schools, giving educators structured access to programme materials and supporting delivery in the classroom.
Helena Reeves from Real Food Rebellion, said: “Working with ALT Agency has been a gamechanger.
“ALT Agency really listened to the brief and understood exactly what we wanted – a rebellion-themed site that worked for both teachers and students.
“We’re excited about our ongoing collaboration to maximise our online impact. After all, what could be more important than the future health of the upcoming generation?”
A second phase of the website is already in development and will expand the platform to include a broader range of resources for young people and parents, creating a more comprehensive and accessible digital hub.
This next stage is expected to further support families beyond the classroom, helping to reinforce positive food choices and long-term behavioural change.
Craig Murphy managing director at ALT Agency, said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the Real Food Rebellion on such a great cause.
“The site build came with some challenges such as a very short deadline with some rather complex integrations but the team pulled together and delivered an incredible website for a phase 1.”
The new website has been designed with accessibility and usability at its core, ensuring that both educators and, in time, families can easily engage with the content.
