HB&O, which has offices in Birmingham, Coventry and Leamington, has promoted eight members of staff across a range of grades, recognising their contribution to the firm's continued growth and commitment to client service.
The promotions include two new seniors within the audit and accounts team.
Sophie Butteriss, from Leicestershire, has progressed to the role of Accounts Senior after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, while Khari George, who is based in Birmingham and heads the company’s new AI steering group, has been promoted to Virtual Finance Office (VFO) Senior.
Puja Jain, from Coventry, has advanced to a top tier client manager, while Emma Potter, from Solihull, has progressed to a second-tier client manager in the VFO.
Four trainee accountants have continued their development through the company's well-respected training programme.
Sophie French, from Coventry, and William Whiting, from Warwick, have both been promoted from the highest trainee level to Semi-Senior positions. Benjamin Usher-Shipway, from Birmingham, has advanced to Technician Level 3 in the VFO, and Sonia Fard, who lives in Coventry, has moved up to Technician Level 2 in the VFO.
The promotions span HB&O's three offices and form part of the firm's ongoing commitment to supporting professional development and creating opportunities for career progression.

Many of HB&O’s senior leadership team joined the business as an apprentice before working their way up.
