Corporate finance specialist Rob Wilson has been promoted to corporate finance partner for the Midlands.
Wilson’s new appointment reflects both his significant contribution to the firm’s deal activity and the continued growth of Dains’ advisory capabilities, as the business expands its regional presence and supports clients through increasingly complex transactions.
The latest round of promotions includes four new partner appointments across the group.
Rob Wilson (corporate finance partner, Midlands), Ian Brown (indirect tax, Scotland), Brian Thomson (audit, Scotland) and Ellen Feetum (tax, Northwest) have been promoted to partner.
For more than a decade at Dains, Wilson (pictured) has provided corporate finance lead advisory services as well as delivering financial due diligence on large and small transactions, working on behalf of private equity, banks and other debt providers, as well as corporate clients.
In his new role as corporate finance partner, Wilson will lead the Dains Group’s financial due diligence offering.
In the Midlands Elliot Bonomini (forensic director), Matt Norris (audit director) and Rachael Dagger (ESG director) have been promoted to director.
Mark Tuckwell, regional managing partner for the Midlands said: “Personal progression is at the heart of the business’ ongoing success. It reflects the strength of our people, the quality of the work they deliver, and the way they support our clients every day.
“In the Midlands, we’ve continued to build real depth across both compliance and advisory, and these promotions show the strength of that capability.
As our clients face more complex challenges, it’s important we have the right people in place to give clear, confident advice.”
