Sue and Nigel from the Award winning White Horse Pub are taking part in Proud Pubs Week which runs this week. They've sent the following message.
Proud of Pubs Week & Launch of New Wine List
We are taking part in Proud of Pubs Week which runs from 13th to 20th July. Sue and I view this as an opportunity for us to take pride in our pub and our team and to look at how we can do more in our local community.
On Monday 14th July, Sue and I are visiting the House of Commons along with several other publicans where the week will be launched by Greg Mulholland MP.
Throughout the week, we will be inviting our customers to vote for their star member of staff. The winner will be announced on the Thursday evening and will receive a £50 gift voucher.
At The White Horse, Sue and I are constantly looking at ways to improve our service to our customers and on Wednesday 16th July from 6pm to 8pm we are launching our new wine list. We felt that our wine list needed a change so we are creating a new one and telling everyone about it.
You are cordially invited to our free tasting on Wednesday 16th July from 6pm to 8pm.
To help our new wine list to start with a bang, we are throwing in some English cheeses and local breads and nibbles.
And that's not all. Live music will accompany you while you taste.
Do come along, even if its your first visit to us. Bring colleagues and friends. Everyone receives our great White Horse welcome and will get a taste for the hospitality we offer all our customers.
