Get Motoring for a good cause

I found this article in last week's Times and Citizen, and felt a certain affiliation as my first car was a mini.

Anyway, the Mostly Harmless Mini Club has organised a charity run from Great Barford to Great Yarmouth on July 24th in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, and they are welcoming more riders to join in the fun and fundraising.

This is the second year that the Great Run has been done.  There is a fancy dress theme, and before the Run starts breakfast is served by Elms Mini Dealership in Elms Farm.

Both old and new minis can take part, and a support vehicle will be available along the route.  The journey is expected to take between 3 and 4 hours.

Places in the Great Run cost £20, which includes a Run pack and the support vehicle.
