“Bedford Citizens Advice Bureau are seeking new/additional Trustees.  The Bureau, which is a Charity, provides an invaluable support service to the local community in relation to Debt, Housing Benefits and Employment issues, as well as other areas.

The role of the Trustee is to support The Manager, but is not onerous, involving normally an evening meeting every 2 months, and attend a Staff Meeting perhaps once a year, and is a way of giving some time and commitment back to the local community.

The CAB are particularly looking for a Treasurer Trustee, to oversee the Accounts (not produce!), and a Trustee with PR/Marketing Skills, as well as 2 general business people, who feel a sense of Corporate Social Responsibility.

If anyone is interested in finding out more, can they please contact, Pauline Wilkes, at info@Fitzpatrick-Wilkes.co.uk or by telephone on 01767 692473 – leaving a message if necessary, she will be happy to send you information direct, and/or have a chat to them about what is involved.”
