Following the success of Bedford in this year’s In Bloom competitions:
Gold medal and category winner in Anglia in Bloom competition;
Silver medal in Britain in Bloom competition,
the In Bloom group are already planning next year’s campaign.
The Bedford in Bloom group is a forum for individuals, organisations and the diverse communities within Bedford who are working together to improve their local environment and to make Bedford an attractive place to live and visit. The In Bloom forum aim to promote the 3 core pillars of the In Bloom organization – Community, Horticulture and Environment.
As a local business or organisation we would like to invite you to support the Bedford in Bloom 2010 campaign in one of the following ways –
1) Providing flower displays at the front your property
2) Improving and maintaining any garden with the property
3) Volunteering for any clean ups in your area through Pride in Bedford
4) Volunteering to help on one of the ongoing projects around Bedford
5) Sponsoring the planting on any roundabout
6) Offering annual sponsorship to the Bedford in Bloom group which is allocated to projects around the town
7) Promoting the Bedford in Bloom campaign to your staff and customers.
The aim of the Bedford in Bloom group in 2010 is to retain the Anglia in Bloom award and to win the Britain in Bloom competition.
