"It's over five years since I attended my first networking meeting. I remember walking through the doors of the restaurant in Aylesbury and I'm still convinced to this day I was visibly shaking with nerves.
Despite wanting to turn on my heels and run back to the safety of my car, I managed to walk in and once I was through the doors, I have never looked back; I became a networking junkie! I am still hooked by its power.
Being able to significantly grow your business whilst at the same time building really strong friendships is a truly amazing feat. Throw into that mix the personal and business development networking brings and you truly have an amazingly powerful beast.
So I'm launching The Athena Network in Bedford and I would like to invite you to the launch meeting, which will take place on 24th September.
Venue - The Park Pub and Restaurant, Kimbolton Lane
Time - 12 until 2pm (although you may wish to stay longer to network)
Cost - £20 including lunch and refreshments
At Athena, we set up structured but fun, monthly networking lunches for women either running their own businesses or who are looking for new clients for their employers.
