Basingstoke and Deane Mayor Cllr Seán Keating has given the neighbourhood plans for St Mary Bourne and Sherfield on Loddon his official seal of approval at a special reception.

Urban&Civic, partnered with the Wellcome Trust, has been announced as the private sector development partner who will join Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Hampshire County Council to deliver their ambitious plans for an exemplar development of new homes on the northern part of Manydown in Basingstoke.
Baughurst residents will be rolling up their sleeves to lay the foundations for a full fibre broadband service which will keep them better connected in the future.
More affordable family homes will soon become available for borough residents, as building work gets under way this spring at the former Paddock Road Surgery site in South Ham.
Residents and businesses are being encouraged to have their say on new planning guidance that will set standards for developments, covering a range of issues from the number of parking spaces they should have to the types and sizes of homes that should be built.
