I really enjoyed staying at The White Hart. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was cosy, with its lovely old oak beams. The complimentary tray and complimentary toiletries were a welcomed touch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast menu was generous with a number of options, including a choice of cereals, and the coffee was very good. There was plenty of parking at the back of the Inn.

Came here for my oldest friend, Bernice, as she was turning 51. The service was amazing and we got seated right away (although we did book). It wasn’t too busy but there were other tables so the noise level was pretty low, which made it easier to converse. The menu was amazing- with a wide range and the specials board they brought over was even better! I opted for a korean style burger and was pleasantly impressed! The food was amazing! And my flat white too! Will definitely be coming here again! Nothing to complain about what-so ever! 5 well deserved stars over here!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a hat and matching bag made for my daughter’s wedding recently. It really finished off my outfit and I absolutely LOVED it! My mum and auntie also had fascinators made for the event.

Had lunch today which was absolutely delicious. Nothing too much trouble for Amy who was serving drinks and bringing out the food. Service with a smile. Will definitely be back.

I'm not a hat wearer so it was with some trepidation that I went to see Tracey. She is great fun, the hat was magnificent, (was selected as the best hat at the wedding!) and the whole experience from first visit to a lesson in "how to wear a hat" was first class. Thank you Tracey. Full marks.

In July 2025, Linda Wigfield said about St Mary's Hospice
St Mary's looked after our Mum in her final two weeks of life. The staff were amazing and ensured she was comfortable, had anything she wanted, especially the mash and gravy. I am so grateful that Mum remained pain free and nothing was too much for any of the staff. Even the catering staff are so good at looking after patients and visiting family, ensuring family were also supported with lovely food. I would also thank St Mary's for allowing Mum's little dog Bella to be with her every day. Dog biscuits provided behind reception. Thank you so much.

We only had a drink in the pub . It's location for us was fab at only 7 minutes away. We would like to try a meal sometime and up the stars.
