We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner with friends and had a superb time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. Beautifully presented and extremely tasty, absolutely stunning. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Great that the chef took the time to chat with the customers after the meal. We're looking forward to the next time we visit Ulverston so we can enjoy another visit to the restaurant.

Ulverston Market Hall is a little gem that will have something to interest all types of people, both young and old.
It has a classic cafe, homeware stalls, card stalls, fashion accessories, books and stalls so varied that they will linger for a lifetime in the memories of little children.

Treated myself to a fabulous lunch here. The wood pigeon starter was outstanding. The combination of flavors was inspired and delicious. The Eton Mess was scrumptious and I loved the twist of serving it in a range of peaks.

A fortuitous find but so glad we did. Walked past on our way to the park/monument & thought we'd stop on the way back for something to eat. Excellent food from an excellent chef. The staff were helpful, friendly & our food was cooked in an open kitchen so we could see the preparation. We have decided that at some point we'll go to the Base restaurant for an evening meal...
