Top top food, great service, lovely atmosphere, superb drinks 5/5, 10/10, 100/100 !! Can't wait to go back. Had the most gorgeous scallop starter and then for our mains, the best pork chop ever and monkfish to die for ! And the sauces - delicious- and the presentation - like Michelin ! Even the potatoes were top notch - chips and gratin. Can't wait to go back.

What a fabulous day! I loved the Get “stuff” Done day. I found that Suzanne held the space for me to explore what is holding me back and loved the lightbulbs that come as you’re chatting through what’s come up.

Absolutely impeccable from start to finish! We had scallops and bao buns to start, followed by mussels and rack of lamb. Although slightly on the higher price bracket for Ulverston, it was well worth the money and actually when you include how good the service was, it was great value. Nice wine too! Will be returning as the rest of the menu looked great too.

Ford Park is just below the John Barrow Monument; you walk through it from the car park (donation payment). The bit of the park we saw was tiny - just a little garden selling a few plants and with some beds set out, some of which were obviously a work in progress. The garden is opposite the Base Cafe, which is a good place to have a cuppa and recover from the climb to the Monument.
