Operating as normal with clear one way system around market. Toilets remain closed.

Ulverston is one of our favourite<br>Places to visit when on holiday in the lake District. We always spend some time in the Market Hall & enjoy the experience of being sheltered if raining. However for the very first time( due to Covid restrictions) we found it upsetting to see that many stalls were covered up.Not the traders fault, purely a safety issue. The stalls that were open were ran by friendly owners as usual and we do hope that it gets back to it's full strength asap.👍

Dont miss Blackledges and the bakery stall. The lady on the sweet stall is lovely, as is the pet food stall and the guy with the collectables. It's well worth a visit.

Good old fashioned indoor market, well worth a visit, especially the bread and cake stall, excellent homemade fruit and other pies!

Nice enough little ground for non-league football, but it's quite poor standard for League football tbh

Visited for a solo lunch before walking up Hoad Hill. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, I'd thought it was going to be sandwiches, soups, salads etc but I guess that'll teach me to read the reviews better another time. In fact a group of three older people came in, sat down, looked at the menu and left again! That said, I ordered the cajun vegetable skewers (vegetarian/vegan) which suited me fine, were pretty tasty and cost £9.95. It was quiet but the staff were welcoming and helpful. Other items on the menu included smoked haddock, maple glazed belly pork, posh croque monsieur and butter bean cassoulet
