Dined at Base last night (22.1.2022). I would describe it as relaxed fine dining. The food was superb and the front of house staff delightful. The chef had us transfixed by his preparation and presentation of each course , the kitchen being on full view to the diners.
I would recommend a visit. The menu changes monthly and is different each week. It’s a set menu but can be viewed on the website.

Seating in the away stand was decent. Plenty of leg room. Not a great view of the goal though due to the posts holding up the roof.

Lots of friendly local stalls with a good variety of products. There's a small Cafe situated on site as are toilets. Wheelchair accessible through automatic doors front and back.
