A lovely wee park,great for families aswell as anyone wanting a peaceful walk! The start of the walk up to the Sir John Barrow on Hoad Hill is through Ford Park.<br>Also the oldest church in Ulverston is just above the park,the parish church of St Mary's,parts of it have been there since 1111. Daffodils out too when we were there,the start of spring!

A wonderful night last weekend for the seven course taster menu. All courses were fantastic and equally tasty. We also got the cheese board add on and would definitely recommend! All staff were very friendly and was great to talk to the chef at the end. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We went for a family treat (grandparents and adult children) and the food, atmosphere and service were certainly that!
7 wonderful course with delicate and bold flavour combinations which were both tasty and original. My favourites on this night were - pan seared duck with sweet potato terrine and smoked cauliflower AND the amazing lemon meringue. I also enjoyed sitting opposite the kitchen where I could watch the chef at work. We were well looked after by Abby and Ellie - THANK YOU. A lovely evening for all of us.
