Wonderful caring staff, who supported my mother and cared impeccably for my father in his last weeks at home - helping to make a difficult journey bearable for all the family.

They gave tender loving care to my mum who was nearing the end of her life. I can never thank them enough. A peaceful caring place to spend her last days.

I want here to thank the staff of St Mary's Ulverston for their kindness to my dearest friend Jean Preston. A lovely lady herself, Jean died peaceful & pain-free at home a few days ago. I'm here in New Zealand, but her son Derek tells me that Jean's hospice care, & that of other supporters in Ulverston, has been superb. Thank you all.

Certainly worth seeking out the Market Hall in the centre of Ulverston if visiting the area. A wide variety of different stalls, there would seem to be something for almost everyone. Whilst not being the biggest of markets, the hall itself is eye-catching and inviting.
