Me and my wife ate here tonight. Had an amazing dinner from start to finish already looking to go again.
The corn chowder was amazing to start and the pork cheeks and monkfish main were as good if not better. Can't recommend enough if you enjoy proper food In a intimate setting.

I went with a friend and we had the most lovely evening .
The food was so delicious and mark the chef kindly adapted the food for my gluten free requirements.Each course was well prepared and presented and we would have loved the cheeseboard but were too full.
I highly recommend this dining experience.The staff are friendly and efficient and it’s a 10 out of 10!

What can I say…. Group of 7 mates enjoying each other’s company in great surroundings with the most fabulous food and service.
I half don’t want to write this to keep this place a secret ….. but this is the best meal of 2021 we’ve had.

Fantastic meal with mouth watering flavours!
The set menu was just mouth watering: the flavours were just fantastic and left you wanting more. The waiting on staff gave full explanations of every course and at the end, the chef visited each table for individual feedback. The atmosphere was great: limited stables which felt comfortable in current times. A really enjoyable and relaxing evening. I would recommend booking in advance.

Really lovely evening: the menu was great; the flavours just mouth watering and very different. Watching the meals being served and the attention to detail was incredible to watch: a real art. The ambiance of the Venu was perfect and the service was faultless. Would highly recommend.

My partner and I stopped by Base for lunch after visiting the lighthouse, it was delicious so we decided to book the 7 course meal for a later date. The food was delicious, the different flavours were incredible and each meal was so beautifully presented. The whole experience was amazing; the staff were all great, especially Abbey who was so attentive and friendly. It was also lovely to speak to the chef who is super talented. We can not wait to return, thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience.

Went to the market last weekend with my granddaughter for the Halloween events. We spent over 2 hours in there, had something to eat and drink at Mammy’s cafe and it was great listening to the DJs playing Halloween music and then I took her to Creepy Crafts and we made a Halloween wreath. I couldn’t believe it was free of charge. We had a lovely time and bought some Halloween sweets from C E Sweet Box Treats and a bracelet from Goodness Gracious Gifts.
